Seriously stepping up! Channing Tatum has been candid about the challenges of raising daughter Everly both before and after his split from Jenna Dewan.
A source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly in June 2013 that the pair’s little girl had arrived one month prior, sharing that Tatum would be “the most adorable hands-on daddy ever.”
Dewan and Tatum later called it quits after nearly a decade of marriage in 2018, and their divorce was finalized in September 2024.
Raising his little girl solo was an adjustment, but Tatum jumped in headfirst.
“When I became a single father, I had a lot of fear about connecting to Everly in every way that a little girl might want,” he told Parents magazine in April 2021. “I didn’t wear nail polish or know how to braid hair. But now I do both.”
