Daisy Shah Reveals Fan Encounters Turn Uncomfortable
When asked about fan encounters becoming horrific, Daisy Shah said, “That something happened to me where some people have written nasty comments on my social media posts saying that, ‘Oh, we came to you for a picture, but you said no,’ and this and that. And sometimes what happens is, aap kisi event pe jaate ho, there’s like a crowd of say 3000–4000 people.”
The actress further added, “You know, aap realise nahi karte ho, aap chalte-chalte kisi ne aapse picture maangi hogi aur shayad aapne notice bhi nahi kiya hoga. So that person will get offended — ‘Oh, she didn’t give me a picture.’ But that is not the case. Maybe maine realise hi nahi kiya hai ki aapne mujhse picture maangi hai.”
She continued, “And there have been instances where I have gone to certain events and, you know, itni proximity pe there are like two-three people who are… like I can smell that they are reeking of alcohol. And I’m like, I don’t want to associate… like I don’t even want to engage with this person. But you can’t get rude because there are other people also.”
She added, “So you just ignore, and you just walk by. But maybe woh jo insaan hai, uske peeche do jan aur rahenge, unko lagega ki maine unko ignore kiya hai. But again, it’s part and parcel of the job. You can’t really do anything about it, and you can’t please everybody on this planet.”
In conclusion, Daisy Shah highlighted how misunderstandings and public scrutiny often come with fame. She pointed out that crowded events and constant attention can easily lead to misinterpretations from fans. Despite uncomfortable situations, she maintained that dealing with such incidents remains part of her profession, where she continues to balance boundaries while staying respectful in public interactions.
