Rakul Preet Singh Breaks Silence On Bollywood Actresses Being Working Mothers
When asked after marriage, do people stereotype her for embracing motherhood next, Rakul Preet Singh responded, “Kaun karta hai stereotype? Na toh mere ghar mein kabhi kisi ne kiya hai, and I think na Jackie ke ghar mein kisi ne kiya hai. Everybody has been working, they’re from the industry — and I feel, kyun sunna hai na logon ki aaj? So many people have defied it today. Alia Bhatt, the biggest star, is a mother, and so many others — whether it’s Deepika, Alia, Kiara, Kajol ma’am — they’re all still working. I think women have crossed that boundary.”
