In the video, the elderly man is heard telling Shahid, “Sir, please go ahead as people will crowd you.” The actor appears reluctant at first and gestures for the man to proceed before him, but the latter insists, following which Shahid finally moves ahead. The clip soon prompted reactions across social media, with many users praising both the elderly man’s thoughtful gesture and Shahid’s polite response.

A fan commented, “Bhai ko uncle Ne respect Diya salute uncle ko (Uncle gave respect to Shahid, salute to uncle) (sic).” Other comments from Instagram users read, “Professional.” However, one user objected to the gesture and wrote, “But why ? Just bcz he is a celebrity (sic).”
