On Wednesday, Yash took to his Instagram Stories to explain that he is currently “immersed in finishing” his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, which is set to release in theatres on March 19. In his message, he mentioned how much he has been “longing” to meet his fans.

I truly wanted to make it happen this year on my birthday, but I am fully immersed in finishing the film to make sure it’s ready for you in theatres on March 19th, 2026.”
Yash also made a heartfelt promise to his supporters. “Because of this, I won’t be able to meet you in person just yet. Even though we couldn’t make it happen now, I promise to make it up to you. About Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups
Co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. It has dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages. The film’s first looks feature Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth.
This project marks Yash’s first since the blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022, part of the immensely popular franchise. The film boasts a talented technical team, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni, and production designer TP Abid.
